California is burning,
And officials say
It isn’t safe to breathe outdoors,
But some people
Don’t have doors to hide behind,
So some other people
Are giving out face masks
And the library
Is keeping its doors open late,
And I don’t know if it makes any of this better,
But I want
To honor it.
